Major Milk Making Cookies!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 2 tbsp wheatgerm 1 3/4 cups rolled oats 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 3/4 cups almond butter or peanut butter 1/2 cup butter, softened (150g) 1 cup flaxseed meal 3 tbsp brewer's yeast 1/3 cup water or juice 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp molasses 2 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 2 cups chocolate chips 3 tbsp of Chia 1 cup chopped nuts of your choice Method Preheat oven to 180C. Combine flour, wheatgerm, flaxseed meal, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a bowl. In a large bowl, beat almond butter, butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, brewer's yeast, molasses and water/juice until creamy. Mix in beaten eggs. Gradually mix in flour mixture. Mix in nuts, Chia and chocolate chips. Add rolled oats slowly, mixing as you go. Place balls of dough onto greased baking sheets. Press down each ball lightly with a fork. Bake 12 minutes. |
